Boral Limited, a famous building and construction company in Australia has made a shakeup of the year. In July, there was a takeover by Seven Group Holdings and an announcement of the new leadership by bringing Vik Bansal as their new executive officer.
Bringing in Vik Bansal will be a wise decision because he has more than two decades of experience in corporate leadership in different companies across Australia, the United States, and Asia. He served as a CEO, Valmont Industries president, and the General Manager of OneSteel.
During his time as the CEO of Cleanaway, Vik helped the company increase its shareholder value from $ 1 billion to more than $5 billion. When he joined InfraBuild in 2021, the company increased its net revenue to $2.94 billion. His experience in different companies will give him insights into handling challenges that Boral limited and the entire industry may be facing.
Stokes is convinced that Vik is the most suitable person to lead the company after reading his profile and seeing his significant achievements at Cleanaway and InfraBuild. He believes he will use the same skills and experience from his previous companies to bring a turnaround to Boral.
